Can I use your typefaces for commercial work?
Yes! All Thistle Type licences allow for commercial use, as long as it’s within the terms of the licence. If you’re unsure, just ask.
What licences do you offer?
Thistle Type fonts are available with following licence types:
- Desktop – for use in printed materials, logos, packaging, etc.
- Web – for embedding fonts on websites via @font-face
- App – for embedding fonts in mobile or desktop applications
- Digital Publication – for embedding fonts in eBooks, ePubs, PDFs, etc.
Each licence is available to choose on the font product page.
Do you offer other types of licences?
If you need a licence that’s not listed on the website – such as for broadcast, gaming, or large-scale enterprise – you’re welcome to get in touch. Licence upgrades are also available if your project grows or changes.
How do I download my fonts?
Once your purchase is complete, you’ll receive an email with a download link. You can also access your fonts anytime by logging into your account on thistletype.com
How do I install the fonts?
- On Mac, double-click the font file and hit “Install Font”
- On PC, right-click the file and select “Install”
If you need help, just check the install guide included in your download, or get in touch using the form on this page.
Do you offer refunds?
Because fonts are digital products, refunds aren’t possible once they’ve been downloaded. If you run into any issues, we’re happy to help – just send a message.
Do you take on custom projects?
Thanks for your interest, but Thistle Type doesn’t currently offer custom typeface design or bespoke lettering. All available typefaces are listed in the shop.
